Sustainability Policy

SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

Integrated Premises Services Pty Limited recognises that our long-term success is dependant on our environmental and social performance.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

IPS Pty Ltd commits to implement this policy throughout the organisation by achieving the following objectives:

  • Minimising the consumption of resources and output of waste for landfill;
  •  Working towards carbon neutrality in our office, energy use and travel;
  •  Complying with all relevant environmental legislation;
  •  Maintaining the ISO 14001 standards of practice for all our  worksites;
  •  Encouraging and pursuing new and innovative waste avoidance practices;
  •  Encouraging opportunities to reduce, re-use and recycle water and minimise impacts on aquatic systems and water supply:
  •  Training staff on our sustainability objectives;
  •  Promoting behavioural changes to achieve our sustainability objectives;
  •  Operating in a socially and ethically responsible manner;
  •  Using all suitable opportunities to influence our partners, suppliers and sub contractors to improve their own environmental performance.
  •  Ensuring that our Sustainability Plan is an active document, regularly reviewed, monitored, reported and updated.

Our scope of Influence

We can only achieve our commitments by working with other organisations, not all of which share our objectives.  Some may undertake activities which we oppose.  This is not necessarily a bar to partnership in areas where we can further the sustainability agenda.

However, it is important that IPS does not engage in partnerships that undermine our credibility in addressing climate change through sustainable energy.  Therefore, we will not work in partnership with individuals or organisations that actively deny the existence of anthropogenic climate change.
